LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
CRUCIAL CONTEXT
Dear Director:
I emphatically welcome the release of this magazine whose appearance could not be more timely, since it emerges in a crucial context in which the West is waging a merciless battle in cultural terms. In this sense, in addition to the great intellectual and academic quality that your publication embodies, it has the notable originality of being largely focused on art, a branch that has been little explored and is fundamental to the fight that is being waged in the which the concepts of Good, Truth and Beauty are being put in check as a result of the unfortunate and ominous progressive onslaught.
Without a doubt, this work will shed light fulfilling a great educational, informative and formative role. Good luck!!!!

OPEN THE MIND
Dear Director:
I have had the opportunity to read part of your magazine prior to its launch, and it has been a great pleasure to be able to verify that in the midst of the media crisis in Chile and throughout the West, there are young creatives and professionals with such innovative ideas, who seek to show , within the subjects that dominate, the necessary depth to give the cultural battle. I am referring to the nascent magazine “AVANZADA Arte & Cultura”, an initiative that
It has a remarkable group of professionals who want to develop and deepen topics that today, given the contingency, have been left aside, but they are no less important for that. Philosophers, Theologians and Artists in all their disciplines have a place in this magazine, which at least to me, at the time
reading led me to clear my mind and open my mind to the big issues. I want to welcome you to this new medium, which is always valued, and which will also develop abandoned areas of great interest and value that, in these times, we need so much.

FIRST STEP
Mr. Principal:
What is the art? I understand as an artist someone who is capable of approaching perfection in the execution of a human activity powered by the spirit and I call art the work he creates.
Art has always been used politically, or at least, it has had political effects and that is why many earthly princes and those of the Church resorted to famous artists who captured their persons, their demands or their propaganda, in works that until the day of today they leave us astonished by their beauty, although we no longer understand exactly the context in which they were created and the message they conveyed.
Art is and has been a means of communication of ideas. That is why the creation of this magazine deserves my congratulations for this initiative. I am confident that this medium will make it possible to present more artists opposed to the ugliness and deconstruction poster, which has managed to impose its hegemony and cultural monopoly in our country. Going out to play on their court will undoubtedly be a blow to those who believe that art is and will be a bulwark of totalitarianism and aesthetic deconstruction. Offering beauty, spirituality and meaning of life in art will enrich our compatriots, making them less susceptible to being manipulated towards hatred and destruction. It is through art, true art, that we will awaken in our people the desire to achieve great things. The will to improve and the rejection of mediocrity and resentment, which are the breeding grounds for totalitarianism.
This magazine is just one step in that direction. But every long journey begins with a first step. In fact, the first step is the most important of all steps! And the goal is worth it...
Sincerely:
JOHANNES KAISER B.

HARD TASK
Mr. Principal:
The first thing is to congratulate you for spearheading this initiative: publishing a magazine is always hard. If it is an art magazine, even more difficult. And if, as is the case, he subscribes to a conception of art in which beauty is inseparable from goodness and truth, then the effort deserves standing applause. And that's what i do.
I want to dream that this magazine will manage to carve out a space for itself in the public, and that it will become a place where the spirit can be calmed by contemplating the images, and the imagination will be enlivened by contact with artistic creations, and the intelligence fed with the articles and reflections of its collaborators.
Finally, wish you long life (to you and to the magazine). As I learned from a skydiver friend, the second jump is more difficult than the first. Similarly, getting Outpost #2 off the ground will certainly be more of a challenge. But later, the thing begins to transform into a trade. I wish it for the good of Chile, at a time when the cult of the ugly and strident has so many of us confused; for the sake of art, which so many take advantage of to smuggle in ideologies, cheap novelties and bad taste; and for the good of the people who, knowing Avanzada, will touch, along with beauty, good and truth.

BEAUTY WILL SAVE THE WORLD
Dear Director:
With great pleasure I have had the opportunity to see the first publication of this valuable magazine. I believe that, at such a relevant moment for humanity, and especially for these complex and dark times that we have to face, the work that you carry out becomes a way of salvation for society and its culture.
The crisis we are facing is a moral breakdown, where the very essence of the human being, its projection, its greatness and the final destination of its existence have been questioned. As Saint Augustine said, "You made us Lord for you, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you", so the deepest and most transcendent reality is that the human person is destined for the eternal, and in that eternity , there is the search and the path towards good and love. The cultural crisis, this long night of death and misery, reveals to us an undeniable reality, which is that the lack of reason separates us from good and beauty, and has caused a deterioration and a breakdown in our culture, in our society. . Therefore, your effort is a light of hope for
return to that transcendent flash that characterizes the existence of the human person, and that through beauty can save the world.
I congratulate the work, and the opportunity to meet and collaborate with you in a common effort to emphasize what makes us great, because the beauty of truth brings with it goodness, justice and love, and in this we We play freedom. For the truth sets us free.

REALITY OF THE ARTISTS
Dear Director:
With great pleasure, we have learned that, finally after overcoming so many obstacles and problems of all kinds, the magazine Avanzada - Arte & Cultura is coming out to the public in physical and digital format, which undoubtedly comes to recover a space that postmodernism has appropriated in recent decades with all that this means, since it has been precisely they, the postmodernists, the main enemies of art in any of its manifestations, who with their nesciences, aberrations, ideologies, inquisitions and institutionalized prejudices have tried arrogate the right to define art and culture, according to their whim, taking the beliefs of the peoples, their traditions and manifestations of art through the ages, to plunge them into a filth dump, which does not help at all to interpret the reality that artists through the various artistic disciplines have contributed to humanity since its inception.
This cultural artistic effort must be supported and recognized by all levels of organized civil society, to direct art to the place it deserves.
